Whilst there is no obligation to provide Book Bargains with any personal information, Book Bargains cannot fulfill orders without gathering this information. Transactional details such as credit card information are not gathered by Book Bargains, but by its e-commerce partner PayPal, which deletes this information after the transaction has been approved and confirmed.

How is the information stored?

Book Bargains shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the personal information you have provided to us is kept confidential and secure and to ensure it is protected from unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure or alteration. Any transactional details such as credit card information are captured by Book Bargains’ ecommerce partner PayPal using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software and protected by encryption and firewall technology.

Who is this information shared with?

Book Bargains is required to provide access of customer delivery details to its e-commerce partner Paypal in order to process payments and its fulfillment partner Book Bargains Pty Ltd (ABN 41 635 468 369) in order to pack and ship orders. Neither PayPal nor Book Bargains store or retain any personal details of Book Bargains customers. Book Bargains shall not rent or sell your personal information to any other third party without your express permission.

Is the information accurate and up to date?

Whilst Book Bargains shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and currency of information held it is dependent on the information its customers provide. If you believe that the personal information we hold about you is incomplete, inaccurate or out of date, please contact us to update the information.
